Pictures aboub Repovesi and tours Site opens to a new window Canoeing in “Lintukymi” 13.08.2011 Lintukymi is quite close to Repovesi National Park. The river is interesting and also calm, so it is safe. Canoeing is wonderful way of watching the Nature. You can go very close to birds and you have no noise. We took our trip with a group called “Jaalan Jaloiset”. We canoed for two ours up stream to small waterfall “Puolakan koski”. During the brake we cooked coffee and had, of course, warmed sausages. The falls was very nice place for our brake, hut with fireplace. By the falls there was fishermen. We asked, have their got something. One of them told us, he had got many trouts anf forels during the summer, about 1 to 3 kilos. Notice that there you need a special lisence for fishing. Look at the pictures here and in the gallery.
